Jared Michonski, Ph.D. (Clinical Fellow)
Dr. Michonski received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston and completed his clinical internship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has received extensive training in evidence based treatments, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Dr. Michonski treats adults, as well as adolescents and their families, with problems with emotion dysregulation, self-harm, suicidality, interpersonal difficulties, impulsivity, anxiety, and mood disorders. He enjoys treating diverse populations and has a particular clinical interest in working with adolescents with borderline personality features - an area of focus for much of his graduate research. Dr. Michonski also has interest in the integration of clients' religious/spiritual beliefs into therapeutic practice when this is relevant for individual clients. Dr. Michonski is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
